In 2012 a reputable lawyer and car collector was diagnosed with a serious illness prompting him to relocate his collection of Ferrari’s into storage at a warehouse. Due to medical obligations, payments on the warehouse were missed and the facility moved the cars to a remote field where these prancing horses would lay forgotten for ten years—hidden amongst an overgrowth of weeds and grass.

Amongst the collection included eleven Ferrari’s—a Testarossa, three 348’s, a 400i, a 308 Quattrovalvole, two 328’s, and 3 Mondials—nine of eleven with legal titles. Mysteriously, two Rolls Royce’s had disappeared from the stash and due to the lapse in time and the location, are difficult to account for.

The family of the man in question had the cars retrieved after his passing and sold all nine Ferrari’s to a single dealer who put them through extensive restoration—to which all are near complete—but unfortunately none have yet been sold.
